Welcome to the Book of Avelorn, the guide to my fantasy campaign world. This Campaign started in 1986. As it grew, I integrated stories from earlier games into the world so this world has been 30 years in development.

Special Classes:
Cavalier: Classic Knights. This class is derived from the original 1st edition Cavalier from Dragon Magazine.
Elven Knights: Elves (not Gwavi) may be Elven Knights, basically Fighter-Mages.
Jinn Masters: Some Sudeemian mages gather spells from elemental spirits. These mages use the Sha’ir rules.
Paladins: Paladins have abilities and requirements based on the god they serve. The PHB paladins aladinsare servants of Adonai. Other paladins include Princes of Serendip, Lunaris Warriors, Judicars, and War Summoners.
Phantoms: Phantoms are bound to a magical relic that allows them to become temporarily insubstantial. The Order of the Phantoms is in Copenell, and as such is limited (mostly) to humans who are faithful and good.
Shadowblades: Fighter-Assassins, mostly from Dwelliger, the shadowblades have been fighting a rebellion against the Dwelligerians for centuries.
