Book of Avilorn
Set upon Jade Lake, Fortnite is the gateway to the Jaden Forest. Home to almost 1600 people, Fortnite is the last major town before the wilderness.
Lakeside Park-Home of the Lakeside Faire every spring. This is a huge faire drawing not only locals from Jade, Islefree, and Lakewood but people from all over San Servus and dwarves and halflings from the Dwarven Hills. The Faire Has Game, Rides, a menagerie, plays, freak shows, fight tournaments and the famous Magical Flying Boats (1 sp to ride).
Keep of Joshua the Red- About 5 miles north of town. The Keep is the home for some of the best horses in the Londs. Besides fine Palfreys, they also sell Ja’ryds (lizard horses).
Bardian Keep- duke of Fortnite
Church of St. Tynac- With a monastery next to the Church.
Joyous Tome-Oldest, Biggest, and most reputable tavern and inn in Fortnite.
The Red Hand-This is a tavern at the north end of town. Operated by the Braison family and housed in a squat stone building, it is frequented by horse traders, woodsmen, and some of the less reputable citizens. The main room is above ground but the second room is in the basement. This basement is winding, almost a dungeon itself and a few offshoots can be found downstairs where private conversations can be had. The west side of the building has huge shuttered windows that are opened up in good weather, allowing for outside sitting. Only cold faire is served in the winter but in good weather, hot food is often cooked outside (usually on spits) The owner, Bors Braison (born 147), knows how to cook meat.
Nearby is Braison Grove, owned by Bors older brother William (born 144). This old orchard is good farming land. Bors and his family live with his brother but, as often as not, just sleep at the Red Hand. Bors went adventuring some in his youth and can account for himself fairly well (Fighter 4, Battle Master).
In the river between Fortnight and Jade is the underwater community of the Green Family, a clan of Goblin Turtles
